I had a similar impression on the suction cup. :) coincidentally I'm also mostly using it in the kitchen.
When needed I also use it as a presentation stand when we demo our mobile payment services at work.

I got my hands on the Oona recently. There aren't many places that sell it in the UK that sell it besides these guys. It's pretty good. I was a little nervous that the suction wouldn't hold my phone well, but once you use it, you realize that it isn't really an issue. It actually has a surprisingly strong grip, perhaps even better than some of the other smartphone stands about at the moment.

My phone now spends it life stuck on the cupboard in my kitchen, displaying recipes for me to read whilst cooking :]

Agreed. In some cases you may think you NEED to access the internet, but I'm sure I will find in those situations that I don't really need to, but just would like to access it. Also now with personal hotspot on the iPhone in addition to my Android's hotspot feature, I can still get access on the iPad.

I considered that aspect as well and the Wifi-only version still lets you locate yourself based on WiFi networks in your proximity. During my year of using the first iPad that was with 3G I never needed to get a more accurate location and for that matter I actually always used my iPhone anyway.

I had exactly the same question, however, the 3G version is the only version with GPS built in.

Is that something you would not consider as another reason for getting the 3G one?

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but following seeing how slim and surprisingly little and light it is, I look at it to be a fairly distinctive hybrid that brings together characteristics of the two the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and pretty OLED screen is somewhat more compact than the touch display screen, but the player alone feels very a bit more compact and lighter. It weighs about two/three as significantly, and is noticeably scaled-down in width and peak, even though being just a hair thicker.

As far as I know you can't transfer money to your card. Payouts are done via direct deposit once you reached $75 in your account.

Actually the build of snow leopard given out was not a gold master, it was just the final developer build.
